That’s right, we made a trip up to New York. It was my first trip there and we sure did have fun. It wasn’t my first plan ride, but it was the first time I got to ride with Dad. I sat right behind him and I made sure he knew it. I also made sure the gentleman sitting next to me and Mom knew it too. OK, I wasn’t that bad, but if you ask my Dad, I’m sure he will squirm when sharing his thoughts about the plane ride up. Lucky Brooke got to sit right next to Dad in her very own seat. I guess that is the life of being the oldest.

NY Friends

Our first stop in NY was to see all of our family and friends. And friends did I get to see…the Farbman’s (they better lock up their new daughter – I’m on the prowl), DeGrazio’s, Nordt’s, Smith’s, and more…oh my! We stayed with Aunt Kristan and Uncle Frankie for the first few days. They are expecting their own little boy within the next few months (I can’t wait to have a younger boy cousin to pick on!). Therefore, I thought it would be wise to give them a taste of how life changes with a screaming little boy. I did my best to keep them up at night (it was a new place for me, so I had some problems sleeping at first – not really, but that is what I am selling everyone). Overall, I was a great visitor; I’m sure you knew that already. After all, I am a Credendino.

A Buggy Monkey

Hey everybody! It’s been a while and well, I’ve been quite busy. First, we all took a big family trip in the RV to Jacksonville to watch the Dawgs play the Gators. And would you believe it, the Dawgs actually won!!! My Daddy and I went to the game together for some father/daughter bonding time. Carson and Mommy stayed back at the camp. Poor Carson got croup while we were on vacation and wasn’t feeling well. Daddy has some great video footage of me at the game. I really LOVED the football game. I started singing Glory, Glory to Old Georgia right away. I didn’t want to miss a thing and everytime we set down, I told Daddy “STAND UP, we are missing it!” It was so much fun.

When we got back from the trip, it was time to walk the neighborhood for candy. That’s right, can you believe all I had to do was get dressed up like a cute little Lady Bug, ring a few door bells, and people dropped candy into a little bag just for me! I had so much fun. Hannah and Lawton came with us. Hannah was Minnie Mouse and Lawton was Mickey Mouse. Of course, my favorite little brother came as well. Carson was the cutest monkey ever!!

After Halloween, our friends Rich and Erin from New York game to visit for the GA vs. Auburn football game. We had so much fun! I love Rich and Erin. They will happily listen to me talk for hours. As you know, I like anybody who’s willing to listen to me talk and give me lots of attention. That was another great GA victory but I had to spend the day at MeeMaw’s house for that game. Poor me.

Anyway, here are a couple of pics from Halloween. We are having some issues with the photo gallery but I wanted to give you a small taste of all my activities. Don’t worry, I’ll get more pictures out there soon.

I mad my way up to New York this weekend to attend my buddy’s wedding. Rich Nordt finally tied the knot and now officially has a better half, Mrs. Erin Nordt.

My trip to New York was fun, and the wedding was amazing. Shockingly, everyone behaved and we all had a great time.

The biggest surprise of the weekend was found in row behind me on my flight up to White Plains. My childhood & neighborhood friend, Bobby Simon, was on the same flight! I haven’t seen Bob in 14 or so years. Needless to say we spent the flight downing some of Airtran’s finest beverages and catching up.

Catch the video of Rich and Erin’s entrance…

….also check the gallery for the latest pictures, including photos from the wedding.

Surprise…Happy 30th!

Mommy is 30! On her birthday, she thought we would just have a cake and move on to the next day. Not so fast! Thanks to the organizational skills of her good friend Abby, and the money of el-cheapo Dad, we were able to throw an amazing surprise party for Mom. And surprised she was; it was quite a site. I have to run, but before you do same, check out some of the surprise pics in the updated photo gallery. As a bonus, you will find some pictures of me on my bicycle. While on my Mike, Dad kept calling me Evil Knievel – whatever that means.

Head on over to the gallery now.

So far, being two has been pretty great. Let me start from the beginning. On my birthday, I had a special party with my GA family. The best part of the party was not the family, or the presents, or the hot dogs, or the hamburgers, or the mac n cheese. All of those things were nice of course, but the best part was my Nemo Cake!! Yes, I had my very own Nemo cake for my birthday. Mommy and Daddy made it special for me (mostly Mommy but we will give Daddy some credit for making the fish eye). Isn’t that great!! Check it out.

My Nemo Cake

You wouldn’t think that things could get much better, but they really, really did. The next morning, I woke up and my back yard was a life size Candy Land game. There was a peppermint forest where you could dive for candy canes. A giant gingerbread tree where you could pop the purple plums and win a price. As you followed the path, you had to cross the gum drop bridge to get to peanut acres. In peanut acres we pulled circus peanuts from a candy tree. Then we made it to the chocolate swamp to go fishing for what else, chocolate. Then there was my favorite land, lollipop forest. Lollipops as far as the eye could see(see below). I love lollipops.

Lollipop Forest

Last stop in the game, was King Candy’s castle. In the castle, there were bins and bins of all kinds of candy for everyone to eat and enjoy. And of course, there was cake and cupcakes. I had my very own special lollipop cake. It was like a dream. Fifty of my closest friends walked up my driveway, through the candy cane balloon entrance to get candy bags to fill. Everyone followed the path and ended up with cake. At the end of the party, a bunch of us kids went diving in the peppermint forest lake. It was tons of fun. Memaw has tons of pictures of me opening lollipops, taking two licks, and then opening another one. I think I opened fifty lollipops that day!!! That was a 2 year old birthday wish come true.

You won’t believe but things actually got better!! A week later, we took a plane to Orlando. After a quick car ride, guess where we were??? That’s right, we were at the Disney Magic Cruise Ship in Port Canaveral, FL. It was huge!! My cousins Hannah & Lawton, Uncle Shane, Aunt Kelly, MeMaw, and Aunt Rhoda came with us. And Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and all the princesses were on board. I can’t think of anything more amazing than that. We boarded the ship and went straight to the dance party on the top deck. Hannah and I danced with all the big kids. It was so much fun.

The best thing about the cruise was the access to food all the time. By the pool, there was hot dogs and pizza for me to eat WHENEVER I wanted. If I was thirsty in the morning when I woke up, they would deliver me apple juice or milk while I laid in bed. At night, we dined on fine cuisine like steak, chicken, and yes, even some mac n cheese. You can’t beat that. During the day, we went to Mickey’s Pool to swim. They had shows on the boat too. We watched the Golden Mickey’s and a Cinderella show, to just name a few. How magical! And walking around on the boat were all the Disney characters. Now, I don’t want to brag and make you jealous but here is a quick list of the people I got to meet:
– Mickey Mouse
– Minnie Mouse
– Goofy
– Donald Duck
– Cinderella
– Belle
– Snow White
– Aura
– Chip & Dale (I called them owls)
– Pluto
I went up to each one of them and gave them a big HUG. Check out a picture of me and Belle. There are more pictures in the photo gallery.

Me and Princess Belle

The boat made three stops along our journey. First we stopped in St. Maarten. Mommy, Daddy, Hannah, Lawton, MeMaw, Aunt Rhoda, and I all took a fun bus ride to the French Riviera. Daddy went for the nude beach, but I went for the fun. We played in the sand and ate lunch at a cute little island restaurant. Later that day, we took a water taxi to the downtown shopping area and got some T-shirts and stuff. Dad purchased a big bottle of some clear stuff. He said it was just for him. Wonder why he won’t share with me. It was a fun day.

The next day, we stopped in St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. Mommy and Daddy got a day off and went snorkeling together and got to see a shipwreck. They said they had fun, but they didn’t have as much fun as I did. I went with Hannah, Lawton, Aunt Kelly, Uncle Shane, MeMaw, and Aunt Rhoda in a rocket ship to the top of tallest mountain to meet Dora. At least, that’s what I told Aunt Kelly we were doing. Dora wasn’t there, but it was still fun.

On the last day, we stopped at Castaway Cay in the Bahamas. Disney owns this island so it was tons of fun. We saw the pirate ship from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie. We went to a beach there too and then took a hike around the island. We saw an old runway that was used for drug running before Disney took over the island. Pretty cool.

What a fabulous trip! I never wanted to go home but all things must come to an end. Thank you MeMaw for taking us on such a wonderful trip! I can’t think of a better way to start my 2nd year.

MeMaw and her Grand Babies

Please don’t forget to check out all the new pictures in the photo gallery. I have added pictures from the Disney Cruise, birthday party, and my new bedroom. The gallery still has the look and feel of my old site. I will be sure to change that soon. Until next time…

Love,
Brooke

Lawton is Here

So much has happened over the last month. The most exciting news is that I have a new baby cousin, named Lawton! I am so excited, because first of all, I love babies! I love to hug and kiss baby Lawton. I haven’t assigned him a name yet, he just goes by baby! Second, I am no longer the runt of the kids anymore. I finally have some one to pick on just like Hannah ‘NANA’ picks on me. When my Aunt Kelly went to the hospital, my cousin Nana came to stay with us. I love my cousin. I even try to mimic her and started calling my Mommy – Aunt A. Mommy didn’t like that so much…poor Mommy. Anyway, after Hannah left, I walked around the house crying and calling out Nana, Nana. I missed her so much. Check out the picture of me and my new couz….

The Big Apple

My seventh month has been pretty darn exciting. I went on an airplane for the very first time and we all went to New York! My Mommy said she didn’t get to go to New York until she was 22 years old so I am a very lucky girl. We all went up to New York to see my Uncle Jim get married. Uncle Jim is one of Daddy’s high school friends. He’s funny because whenever he’s around, everyone shouts Jimbo Sucks! I can’t wait to learn to talk so I can shout with everyone else. Aunt Kristan and Uncle Frank let us stay at their house. Pretty cool of them considering my parents are a real pain in the butt! I mean, I know that I’m adorable but my parents can sure get on your nerves. Uncle Matt and Aunt Dawn came over to visit too. They are pretty cool. I especially loved meeting Arianna for the first time. Once I can walk around, she and I will cause tons of trouble. Boy did we have a great time! Of course, they showered me with gifts and attention, but I wouldn’t expect anything less, I mean I am a Credendino! Speaking of Credendino, I got to meet a whole bunch of them for the very first time. Wow, what a family! I’m not surprised I turned out so great. I have tons of beautiful cousins and aunts that couldn’t wait to get their hands on me. I also got to meet my Great Grandma Vicki. Check out all the pictures of us in the New York album.
