It’s Me, Carson!

That’s right, I’m here. Hello world! You will be seeing and hearing a lot from/about me. I popped out of Mommy’s tummy at 3:23 AM, Sunday, June 10, 2007. I am currently 7lbs 9oz and 20 inches long. All this and I was 9 days early. Once I popped out I had this strange dude staring at me. He said “Yes! I’m not the only boy in the house anymore.”. I found out later that the “strange dude” is my Dad. Now, Mommy, she is no stranger to me. I have been chilln’ in her tummy for some time, so I know her well. She is one tough cookie. I already have her wrapped around my finger, however.

I think I am going to like it in the Credendino household. So far, they seem like a kick ass (my first swear word, yippee) family. I’ve been told I have a big sister (and a dog!) waiting for me at home. I hope she is cool as me. Because frankly, I’m a stud! Stay tuned for lots of pics, but for now, I’ll leave you with this pic of one hansome fella…

Carson is here!

Yours Truly,
Carson “The Stud” Jerome Credendino

Just about one month to go until Carson’s due date. Boy, time sure does fly by – not fast enough for Amanda, however. Although she is doing well, she is ready for baby Carson to “pop out.” Trust me, I know; I get to listen to it each and every day – just kidding, Amanda. The approaching due date has made me think about Brooke’s birth. Brooke was due on February 25th, but arrived two days early, February 23rd. Will history repeat itself? Will Carson arrive two days early? What do you think? Submit your answer to the poll below and let us know.

Lawton is Here

So much has happened over the last month. The most exciting news is that I have a new baby cousin, named Lawton! I am so excited, because first of all, I love babies! I love to hug and kiss baby Lawton. I haven’t assigned him a name yet, he just goes by baby! Second, I am no longer the runt of the kids anymore. I finally have some one to pick on just like Hannah ‘NANA’ picks on me. When my Aunt Kelly went to the hospital, my cousin Nana came to stay with us. I love my cousin. I even try to mimic her and started calling my Mommy – Aunt A. Mommy didn’t like that so much…poor Mommy. Anyway, after Hannah left, I walked around the house crying and calling out Nana, Nana. I missed her so much. Check out the picture of me and my new couz….

My New Home

It’s been three days since I have left the hospital. It’s been a long journey, but I made it. We left the hospital in my Daddy’s ride on Friday, Feb. 25, 2005. Let me tell you, my Daddy drives like a maniac. He thinks he is a good driver, but he isn’t even close. He is so jerky. We arrived at my new digs unharmed. We approached the driveway and there where three of Daddy and Mommy’s friends there to greet us. Bryson, Melissa, and Austin Koehler we super excited to meet me. That Austin is a cute kid, but at the age of 1 he is just too old for me. Also there to meet me was this large stork in the front lawn. Let me tell you, that was creepy. I feel like it wants to eat me. I some times wake up at night thinking it is watching me. I can’t wait for my parents to take that down.

Once we walked into the house my sister, Jasper, was right there waiting to meet me. She is a beautiful dog. I’m not shocked. After all, she is another Credendino. My parents were eager to show me around the house right away. However, I had other plans. I made them get rid of that surprise I had been keeping in my diaper first. I love relieving myself, but I hate getting changed. I love to cry and let everybody know that I am uncomfortable when undressed. They will get the hint soon, won’t they?

Once freshened up, we took a stroll through the new place. I love my house. I especially love the Georgia room. There is all of this cool Georgia paraphernalia that I will have fun with as I get older. I get worried about breaking something in this room when I get older. My Daddy will throw a fit. He can be a scary man. I’m not worried though, I’ll have him trained real fast. He will be wrapped around my long fingers in no time. My nursery is kick butt too. Grandma Susan, Aunt Kelly, and Mommy did a great job decorating. My Dad didn’t do any of the painting. I heard that he was watching college football with my Uncle Shane the entire time. What a pig. He did put up crown molding, however, with his friend Brooks. They did an awesome job. After all, he is a Credendino (see a theme here?).

I love sleeping in my crib. I can sleep forever, but my Mommy keeps waking me. Shouldn’t it be the other way around? She better watch herself. I am tempted to keep her up all night if she keeps this up. My parents better learn quickly that I like my sleep and I don’t like being changed. After all, I’m a Credendino.

I really like my neighbors too. That Kristine is really nice; I can’t say much for her husband, Eric. He seems afraid of me. I’m not sure why, because he is next on the parenting list; I can feel it. They brought over some food for us. I don’t get to eat it though. I guess it is ‘grown up’ food. Aren’t they special? My parents think it is so cool to be grown ups. Well, I know that I have it way better than both of them. Who else can suck on breasts and crap their pants and be complimented for doing so? Being a kid rocks!

All in all, it’s been a great few days. I got to meet all of my grand parents too! Some are even staying with me for the next few weeks. I have some cool pictures with Grandpa Credendino and Nana Cathy. I’ll be getting pictures with the rest of the family soon. Make sure you continue to take a look.

I have been receiving tons of e-mails from my friends, family, and fans. I will be posting some of them soon, as promised earlier. I encourage you to keep sending me messages. I love hearing from you. My Mommy is going to put them into a scrap book for me when I get older. That is really cool. My Mom is awesome! My Dad is really cool too. I know that I am going to be as cool as them. After all, I’m a Credendino.

PS: I posted updated pictures once more. There are some really cool ones where I am in my UGA gear.

My First Post

Hello there! Welcome to my webpage. No, this is not a BLOG. That is an overused term and I dislike it very much. This is a great place to learn more about….me! I’ll try my best to keep this page updated in order to keep my family and friends in the loop. Every day is going to be a new adventure, both for me and my parents. I now my parents are very excited. My Daddy stole a phrase from Donald Rumsfled. He says he is “cautiously optimistic.” I told him that he better be; I’m going to be a handful!

It’s been a long journey. Do you know how it feels to be locked up in a belly for 9 months! I guess you do, but I bet you can’t recall it as I can. It was rough. I had to deal with all types of strangers rubbing my womb and trying to talk to me. Do they not realize I can’t talk yet, gosh! Don’t mind me; I’m just a little cranky. I will get better as time goes on.

Let me tell you a little bit about my arrival. My mom is a really trooper. I pray that I can be as tough as her. She started having contractions on Tuesday night while we were at dinner. They really kicked in Wednesday morning around 4 AM. My Mom didn’t wake my Daddy to inform him because he is a grouchy son of a…you know what. She let him sleep until it was time for him to head to the gym, at 6 AM. When he woke up, my Mommy told him that I may be on the way. Daddy was happy, but he wanted to head to the gym first. So, off he went. When Daddy got back, they both took a walk around their beautiful neighborhood. The contractions where consistently 4 to 5 mins apart. I had a great time in the womb. I liked pushing up on Mommy’s bladder to see her squirm. I got a real kick at of that. I digress. Around 11:30 the doctor asked us to come in. After a quick visit to the doctor, she sent us straight to the hospital. (What was up with her poking my head? Do you think she would want me to do the same? The nerve of some people. No respect.)

We arrived at the hospital around 2 PM on Wednesday. My Mommy was in real pain, I actually started to feel bad for her. I got over that fast and pushed on her bladder some more. You had to be there, it was real fun. Mommy took a bath and was getting pretty relaxed until the doctor pulled her out. He wanted to poke me in the head some more. Let’s fast forward a little bit (I’m only 1 day new and I can’t type forever). At around 10 PM they had my Mommy pushing. In addition to my parents, my Grandparents Jerry and Susan were on hand. I was just seeing some light at the end of the tunnel when somebody told my Mommy to stop. That really erked me. They had to wait for the doctor; my Mommy was doing so great that she was too fast for them. Once the pushing continued my head popped out. My Daddy was right there to greet me. He is a really great guy; I am so lucky to have him as my Pop. I was out and about at 10:12 PM. All I remember is a bright light and my Daddy telling everybody that he had a new baby GIRL. He then cut my umbilical cord. He did a great job. (Did I tell you how great my parents are? It’s worth being said again.)

I’ve been trapped in this hospital ever since. It’s actually very nice here. They take good care of me. We had a few visitors too. Here are some of those that came out to visit:

  • Aunt Kelly
  • Grandma Susan
  • Grandpa Jerry
  • Nana Cathy
  • Uncle Chris
  • My friends Kristine & Eric
  • Mommy’s work friends Chloe and George

My dog, Jasper, tried coming but they stopped her at the door. That is really messed up. Per the signs around this place, brothers and sisters are allowed to visit. Others wanted to visit, but they let us go home so early.

This is my update for now. I will let you know how things go when I arrive at my new pad (crib in every sense of the word). As I write this, we are packing up. I should be arriving at my new home around 3 PM, Feb. 25, 2005. I’ll be posting some of the e-mails that I have received. I had one really funny one from Uncle Frankie that I *have* to share. (He is such a dope.) See you soon.
